Prefecture I
On the move again. Actually stayed a day or more on New Wessex than I should
have, because I’m sure there are more important places to be. Wainwright’s
interesting and all, but there’s more pressing stuff going on than his theories.
I really think I should be in Prefecture IX right now—plenty going on there that
needs to be seen by the right pair of eyes—but the jobs aren’t falling right. Best I
can do right now is move a little more toward the core, then hope to find
something that will take me where I want to go.
Best case scenario would put me on Skye in a week or two. But more people
seem to want to get away from there, so finding a way to the planet isn’t simple.
I’ve got to look, though—call of duty and what not.
